La Cima Elementary Charter School is a National School of Character located in historic Bedford-Stuyvesant. We are committed to creating change-makers in our communities by crafting an academic program that centralizes critical thinking and social justice values.

Teachers inspire analytical thinking skills by using an inter-disciplinary, Common Core-aligned, humanities program explored through world history, current events and social justice issues.  This is part of a curriculum to promote collaboration and positive risk-taking that culminates in a cultural exchange in Paris for all eligible 5th graders. To learn more about our curriculum, click here.
