La Cima is committed to developing change-makers in our community who use their education to affect social change. To do this, we must prepare our scholars academically, socially and emotionally.

In the era of the Common Core, La Cima has made significant strides in preparing our scholars for career and college readiness. In 2015, La Cima was named a National School of Character, a five-year designation granted by Character.org, in honor of our commitment to developing every aspect of our scholars into lifelong learners. La Cima was also named a Reward School for High Progress by the New York State Education Department.
